Since entering clinical practice, he has earned three additional sub-specialty certifications:
Diplomate of the Amercian Board of Forensic Professionals (DABFP)
Forensics is the application of medical facts to legal issues. The healthcare system requires a focused awareness of injury and disability evaluation, analysis of the data, a concise well-written reporting process and an ability to testify on forensic conclusions.
Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Consultants (DABCC)
The granting of this status recognizes academic and professional achievement in the field of QA/UR. ABCC certified practitioners are distinguished by their level of skill in medical records review, case analysis and management, and clinical/examination acumen.
ABQAURP Diplomate (CHCQM)
Diplomates are dedicated to improving the overall quality of health care. Diplomates are comprised of virtually every type of health care professional, encompassing not only the clinical arena but the managerial skill as well. Diplomates who have voluntarily achieved certification in Health Care Quality and Management demonstrate a deep commitment to patient safety, health care quality and effective care. Providers certified in HCQM exude superior ability to critically evaluate the literature, identify evidence-based best practices, and make recommendations that balance appropriateness of services with cost and quality. HCQM Board Certification addresses effectiveness, efficiency, equity, safety, and timeliness in today’s health care environment.
